We were in site 19 which is a large site and has a good view of the lake. I didn't like how grown up the bank of the lake was. It was nearly impossible to walk down to the lake from this site without walking through a ton of poison ivy. The debris on the banks was very bad, lots of trash. The shower house is nice and clean and the water is always warm.

This review is likely due to poor planning and research on my part. Upon arriving at this location my party was surprised to discover the camping spot was gravel. We had prepared based on other camping areas we had done, grassy or dirt areas. We did not have nearly enough padding. If you go to camp in a tent be sure to have some kind of air mattress and padding. We had planned on staying 2 nights, after night one we had to leave because of how little sleep we got due to being uncomfortable.
The restroom facilities were quite clean and nice. Locating them just past the RV drain dump is a terrible idea. The smell was sickening and you had to pass it to get to the restroom facilities.
Overall I would not recommend this spot for tent camping.

Cleared paths to the lake from adjoining campsites would be great, there were trails just so much over growth and stuff.

The site was clean and well cared for. New picnic table. The restrooms were clean, including the shower. The park attendants and volunteer park hosts were very friendly. They provided water safety information to the kids. They also had a scavenger hunt for painted rocks which the kids loved. Peaceful weekend.
