The campground is very nice with a beautiful setting and picturesque view of the lake. Getting in and out of the sites can be difficult, however depending on how many cars are parked in the sites around you. The attendant seems to waive rules for some and not others regarding limits and gets defensive when you try to clarify policy. This made for some tension during our stay.

We love this campground due to its location. Just a few minutes from Somerset. It’s not as critical if you forget something from home because Walmart is just a short drive away. The playground is nice for the kids and the sites are fairly level.

Very quiet, not really too big but has view of lake, nice sites. No TV from antenna, no Wi Fi and poor phone service. We will be going back. Perfect get away from the real world. Has good recreation area for kids and boat ramp right there.

The campground was well maintained. The gate attendant, Charles, was very nice and helpful. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Overall, a great experience.

Quaint campground on the lake. Cove is busy but you can still swim on the coast.

From Somerset, Kentucky, take Highway 80 west for 5 miles. Turn right on East Highway 1248 and continue for 2 miles. The recreation area entrance will be on the left side of the road at the bottom of the hill.

- Golf carts, scooters and moped vehicles are not authorized on project roadways unless handicap credentials can be established.
