We specifically booked site 11 for the sun and lake view and also for our starlink. When we got there, someone's RV was parked in our spot. We knocked on the campground host's door and called the number listed online and no one answered either. I walked down to the volunteer campground host and she was available to help. She walked with me to site 11 and no one answered. She called the host phone number multiple times and no one answered. The volunteer told me to look online for a site not yet booked and take it. I spent the rest of the evening in 19, which was pretty but covered in trees so the starlink would not work. And I spent the evening worrying someone would book 19 online and show up and we would look like the jerks. It was a beautiful spot, but I was stressed and annoyed the entire visit so we got in around 6pm and left by 7am the next day. I received a phone call from the host the next day. I thought it was to apologize, but it was to tell me I hadn't checked out yet. So whoever was in my booked site was still there I guess. Other than getting in later in the day and then having to waste an hour (after spending the time choosing and booking a site in advance) trying to find somewhere to park for the night it was a nice campground.

The experience is always wonderful except for the wild life raccoon who turn into a trash panda after midnight.

Great location. Great Lake views!!Something needs to be done for wi-fi service to customers. Phone calls in or out were almost impossible. So for emergencies, communication etc Fishing Creek needs to get satellite wi-fi for campers.

good visit, really enjoy the campsite and visit, but the dump station is no good for my camper because it is located going down hill, my drain is in the front of camper and less than half will drain out, so I have to go to another place to dump.

We have a 35 foot fifth wheel. This was a very tight campground to navigate with our trailer. We were on site #13. Low hanging tree branches that made contact all over the roof of our unit when we backed in. Trimmed several branches once leveled from the roof of our unit. Be prepared to have to climb steps and/or a steep grade hill to get to the bathroom.
