I gave this campground, 4 stars. For one reason, the hospitality of the host and owners. This is a primitive campground amongst campgrounds, but it had stable 50 amp elec. service and water. And so close to the Bonnie and Clyde exhibit and museum. The site was level, although the road entering is a red clay, so you must drive real, real slow, Otherwise, the back of the coach will be covered l o l in the surroundings, we're very nice.Large ponds open fields extremely quiet.

I haven't been here since 2016. Recently moved back to Minden La with my husband and he suggested we go there. It wasn't very good when I went 15 years ago but said, you need to experience it so off we go. We were extremely satisfied with the amount of vendors and cars in the parking lot and the cars coming in behind us! It was a totally different experience than I had before. Not an over abundance of vendors, but enough that we spent two hours there and spent money on treasures we loved! We learned there is a new owner as of 5 months ago and the atmosphere has turned around in a good way. More vendors coming in the next few months! We'll definitely be going back! We had a great time!!

I am a returning vendor at this venue and I couldn’t be happier with the new ownership. Since the transition, the experience has improved tremendously. The new owners have created a much more family-oriented atmosphere, and the increase in customer traffic has been fantastic for business.
It’s clear they truly care about both the vendors and the community. Communication has been great, the environment is welcoming, and the overall vision for the venue is inspiring. I’m excited to continue working with them and to see the business grow in a way that benefits the owners, the vendors, and—most importantly—the customers.
Highly recommend checking it out!

Sunsets awesome. Events 3rd weekend of the month. 3 fishing ponds. RV park is quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. Ducks; Deer and squirrels are a Plus. If you are staying nearby or passing through, the RVs are definitely premium all around! Call Wade to reserve your spot!
Family friendly, pet friendly and don’t be worried about the big yellow dog, she is absolutely friendly and loves kids. She barks when you come to greet, she likes to meet. She’ll bark and follow you in like a leader. Just pet her and she’ll sit with you until watching over you. Have kids? She is absolutely wonderful with kids.
This place is under new ownership since 2021. This is a FAMILY PLACE! NOTHING CLOSE TO WHAT THE OLD OWNERS HAD.

We found this place on Google as we were looking for a place to stay for the night in our rv. We like that it was close to the Bonnie and Clyde museum that we could check out the following day. The owner of the place was very kind and accommodating as we arrived a bit later in the evening. We saw on the RV parking app that this place was charging $24 a night and we learned that that was inaccurate. It's actually $40 a night. Slightly more than that with all the taxes and all that. The place is beautiful as it has three ponds that you can fish at. The bathrooms had five shower stalls and 5 bathroom stalls. There wasn't too many people here so that made it nice, quiet and serene. The owner of this place even took us to meet his pet turkey, Jerry, which was fun. We missed the trade days weekend experience but it was still a great time. My only complaint would be that a lot of the RV sites aren't exactly level and it took us a bit to get things leveled out.
