Policies & Rules

Pets

  • SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH. NO SPEEDING AS CHILDREN AND PETS MAY BE PRESENT
  • Registered guests are responsible for all individuals at the site and are liable for any damages to the park or site caused by the guest, his/ her family, visitor, or pets.
  • Pet friendly RV park- max (3) domesticated, non-aggressive pets are allowed and are to be on a 6 foot or less leash while walking.
  • You are required to clean up after your pet and your pet is to be always supervised and under control.
  • Golf carts and motorized scooters may be operated by competent persons from sunrise to sunset.

Safety

  • All minors must have adult supervision. Parents are responsible for the whereabouts, safety, and behavior of their children.
  • All garbage must be placed in trash bags before being placed in dumpster (located next to bathhouse/ laundry). Please do not leave any trash outside of RV.
  • Hunting is not allowed, use of firearms is prohibited
  • The exterior of RVs should be free of major damages and be adequately repaired. Tarps are not allowed for weatherproofing.
  • Please do not remove picnic tables or fire rings from the site without park approval.
  • Fires may be enjoyed in fire rings only. Please do not burn trash or leave fires unattended and burning. Fire rings may be provided if available.
  • As always, please notify us of any safety hazards or concerns that you may encounter, and we will address as quickly as possible.

Noise

  • Quiet hours between 10 pm and 7 am.

General

  • No generators may be used in the RV park, unless the park provided power is down.
  • Check out time is 12 noon, check in 1:00 pm unless otherwise approved by the park
  • Enjoy the pond, but please no swimming or wading for liability reasons
  • Unless immediate family, only 6 persons per site and no more than 4 adults per site
  • Please do not flush anything in toilets, other than toilet paper
  • Clotheslines are prohibited at the RV sites, please utilize the washateria
  • Only picnic tables and ordinary camping furniture may be allowed on the decks.
  • Appliances and indoor furniture are not allowed outside of your RV. Exterior furnishings should be appropriate for outdoor/ camping use.
  • No permanent structures are to be placed on the site without approval from management
  • Do not leave your clothes unattended for an extended amount of time. We are not responsible for stolen clothes
  • Please clean dryer filters after every use.

Parking

  • Per the fire marshal, there may be no parking along the roads; any vehicle parked illegally is subject to being towed at owner’s expense
  • Help protect the beauty of the trees, trails, and wildlife by not damaging the property. No cutting, carving, or driving nails into trees. No harassing or chasing wildlife.
  • 2 motorized vehicles are allowed per site
  • 1 recreational vehicle and 1 tent allowed per site
  • Approved recreational vehicles include Class A, B, and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, hard sided travel trailers, pop up trailers and toy haulers. All RVs should be maintained and look and function as it was designed. All hoses, wires, cords, etc. should route through ports as designed.
  • All personal vehicle repairs and maintenance (oil changes, lubes, etc.) are prohibited
  • Only form-fitting bike and car covers are allowed. Carports are prohibited
  • No boats, utility, storage, or auto trailers may be parked in the RV park without management approval. Other on-site parking area may be available.
  • Personal items may not be stored or left behind. All such items may be discarded
  • The quality of camping vehicles or RVs and sites can contribute to or detract from the experience of all the other campers. For this reason, we enforce standards, including, but not limited to appearance and cleanliness of RVs and sites.

Smoking

  • No smoking is allowed in buildings

Guests

  • We have zero tolerance for illegal drugs. This means prosecution if you if you or any guest of yours is found with illegal drugs
  • Please respect all other guests' privacy by not walking through occupied sites
  • Please keep your campsite area clean and organized and free of fire hazards and clutter. Guests who cannot keep their site aesthetically pleasing may be asked to vacate the park.
  • Use of laundry room and bathrooms/ showers are restricted to registered guests and their visitors
  • At Village Oaks, we welcome you to the park and hope that you have a safe and enjoyable experience with us. To allow for all guests to have a pleasant stay, we ask that certain regulations are to be followed. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • Village Oaks RV Park is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss to either person or property. The park and management absolve themselves from all liability and responsibility pertaining to loss by fire, theft, weather, acts of God, property damage, accident, or any other cause whatsoever, and guests agree to save, protect, and hold harmless Village Oaks RV Park from all such liability.
  • Village Oaks RV Park retains the right to alter and modify any of the rules and regulations in keeping with the fairness and best interest of all guests. Violations that result in damage or destruction to park property or threaten the safety of park guests will result in the termination of your stay. Management’s decisions in all disputes are deemed final.

Deposit

  • The following are grounds for reservation termination and removal from the property: Non-payment beyond 5 days for long-term residents, loud noise, (whether mechanical, musical, or indecent language), excessive trash or debris, causing damage to property, or the campground or another person, drunken disorderly conduct, failure to follow rules or directions of the staff, threatening or abusive behavior, or any other conduct that is not the type of behavior expected in a family campground
  • The park shall provide utility hook-ups (included in park fees) at the site for sewer, water, and electricity. Guests shall not make any alteration to the electric, water, or sewer connections provided by the campground
  • Do not discharge sewer or gray water on the ground
