Beavers Dam Campground has several excellent campsites BUT the most disgusting bathrooms and shower facilities of any Federal Park I have stayed. The first rest rooms in the park, the men's commode leaks sewer water from the back wall and the sewer water runs to a drain in front of the commode. You step in the sewer water and your clothing, if not careful, will get wet with the sewer water. This is a major Health Concern but the daily check sheet, shows an employee checks this restroom daily but this Sewer leak you step in has been leaking for ever. PLEASE repair this health hazard.
The showers are almost as bad. Between the strange growths on the walls and floor, the showers need a ceiling to floor cleaning and a coating of shower paint. NASTY.
I usually use the campground facilities but this time I used my RV facilities.
Great Campground but get the Bathrooms to public health standards.
Campground Host is very friendly and probably has no control over the repair of the problems with this FEDERAL Campground

Clean, shaded, level. Pretty.
Showers and restrooms were clean, but dated. Paint would pull it all together. But as rustic as it was the host does a great job on neatness and cleanliness. He’s kind attentive and funny. Place was great.

Site 19 looks good but you can’t back into it with a 5th wheel the forces on each side prevent actual parking. The park road is 9’ wide at best. We had to park in an empty open spot. The desert dump staton was blocked or full when we dumped the tank it just ran over the ground. We were charged extra and the discount was rendered none. Won’t be back until things change and someone audits the books.
