Everything done by phone, no one in the office. Our original spot was muddy from rain and had a hole. We had to call again to get a new spot, this one on concrete. They have 4 concrete spots up front for overniteers. Bathrooms and laundry have codes, which we didn't get. Good Sams.

Not how it appears online. Folks mostly live here for months at a time. So its got its own Lil neighborhood trailer park vibe. Best part is the Rec Room, an ACed, cozily decorated big hall with lots to do inside if you are creative and wna get out of your vehicle. Spotty internet even close to the main building.
It is Advertised for remote workers and RVers, but its hard to actually conduct proper business with the free wifi.
In the Rec Ctr, not a single usable utensil or plate, cooking oil or spice in the huge kitchen in Rec Ctr! Had to buy a ceramic mug at Dollar Gen to microwave water for tea!
Office is closed: so no one site help. Site 119 and 118 had no electricity which was massively I convenient and challe ging for my stay as a digital nomad/ car camper. Showers and bathroom uncleaner regularly - enter at own risk!
Lots of lots open but power is hit or miss. Not even a frodge/freezer in the large kitchen!Very disappointing

I stayed at Vinton RV Park for 5 months and had a great experience from start to finish. The park is clean, quiet, and well-maintained… precisely what you want whether you’re just passing through or staying a while. The sites are spacious and easy to get in and out of, which makes setup a breeze.
What really stood out was how peaceful it was. No unnecessary noise, no chaos… just a relaxed, comfortable environment. The management clearly takes pride in keeping things in order, and it shows.
If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, dependable place to stay and enjoy your RV near Vinton, this is it. Would definitely stay here again.

We have been at this park for over 6 months now and have had a great experience. The park is quiet with many friendly people. The management has been AWESOME and always attentive to needs. The park continues to work at improving amenities park wide. We would recommend this park to any one looking for a nice quiet park to stay.

Easy access to I-10. Good location. We arrived around 3:30 ish and no one was at the office. There were not any maps showing how to move around the park (entrance and exits). My reservation showed we were on site 2, so I had to walk around and find site 2 before driving to it. Easy to find the site and pull in without an issue. Site was just long enough for us not to have to unhook our toad. Sites are a little tight but manageable. There are a lot of full timers living there. Needs to be signs pointing to exit routes. We went out the same way we came in and had there been someone in the last site we could not have made that corner. I am sure there was a better way to exit but we could not see it.
Overall for an overnight stop it was okay.
