The park experience was just what we expected, but we had camper problems and it was very windy, so we left after the first night. However, the park was clean and nice, and everything we expected. It was very dog-friendly and everyone was being cool with keeping them on their leash, which we appreciate since our dog is scared of other dogs.

We’ve been camping here for years. It can be tough to camp with the winds and rain, but at least the ponies are getting smarter on how to get into coolers. Lol

Was wonderful to see the horses. They walked right through my campsite. Sometimes it is hard to keep a distance from them because they will walk up to you. It was windy while I was there so I didn't spend time at the beach.

Site 24 was very good - flat, not too sandy (LOL), on pony path (LOL). Did not have hand sanitizer in toilets, but otherwise okay. Could not find out if potable water was available last week of April (tried calling and web) so loaded up trailer but it was available! Awkward access due to one way roads. Lovely weather,no bugs but WINDY! Lovely staff.

Staff and volunteers were very friendly and helpful, as usual. We brought our canoe and harvested mussels for a great seafood dinner. We choose the bayside campground this year because the ocean side was very windy last year. The horses were very active, you can spend hours watching them. We visit yearly and will again.
