A very big Campground surrounded by big cities and traffic. This very large public land campground is far enough back from the main highways, that noise is not too bad, from the traffic.
The bathrooms are in very poor condition, and have not been updated in a long time. Only 1 shower room in only one of the two, toilet/bath houses in loop-d. I was fortunate that the campground was not very full, otherwise I would have to wait a long time to use the dirty old 1 shower for all of Loop-D
What a shame, when Washington D.C. spends hundreds of billions monthly, and lets a landmark like this go to waste...

Very quiet and secluded location -- which was remarkable considering the proximity to the metro area. Bath houses were a little dated, but they were clean and serviceable.
