Greenbelt Campground offers a great location close to Washington D.C., providing a peaceful, forested setting with well-maintained sites and convenient access to amenities. Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. Easy access to the city, but we loved being able to slow down at our site after a busy day. Campsites are spacious and quiet. Kids did the jr Ranger program and the rangers were great! Was a hidden gem that we almost missed- great spot to be if you’re looking to camp near D.C.

Great place to stay. Many parking pads are level, all are shaded and close to sanitary facilities. Rangers are helpful. We've stayed here many times over the past couple of years and never had problems getting a reservation in Loop B. Our Class-B Sprinter is self-contained so we can get along fine with no electricity or water at our site. Easy access to ,shopping, DC attractions, and Greenbelt Village.
