As a person with a disability, it can be difficult to find a good place to stay. Greenbelt Campground was a great spot for me to stay while I visited Washington D.C. It's basically right in the city, but feels like you are in the wilderness. The facilities were accessible, with hot water and a roll in shower. I had to bring my own shower chair, but was at least able to take one. I definitely recommend this campground if you want a nice place to camp out while you visit D.C.

Very convenient for getting into DC. We also took a day trip out to Shenandoah which was not too far of a drive. Great location. Convenient to a market and a drugstore if needed. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our third stay here. It is completely basic. This time and last it was 90+ degrees. Not the best for boondocking but it was tolerable. Bathrooms were ok.

Good place to stay, nicely organized, large lots and close to Washington DC.
On the webpage there is no exact address - No name of street and no number. It was difficult to find that place, because one of the entrance was closed and for people like me, travelling form Canada and without the internet, it took some time to finally get there. Please add that address to the webpage.
Everything else was very positive.

Campground is reasonably priced and convenient to DC Metro area. However, the bathhouse facilities have been neglected. In Loop C there was only one working sink. Also, only one shower in the bathhouse as well. Would like to see some repairs to this part of facility

Horrible bathrooms, they are moldy, falling apart and not working properly.

I loved my campsite D 143. One may want to take advantage of the nearby metro system. The beltway traffic is unpredictable getting from place to place.
