Greenbelt Campground

Site was occupied when we arrived, so we used the neighboring campsite which was open. No real issue, just a surprise that it happened and no way to check with the supervisor or ranger to see what happened.

Very nice hosts, just wish the NPS would let them do more tasks that they would voluntarily do!
A lot of trees need serious pruning over the roads and in the campsites.
Whoever cleaned the bathrooms didn’t do anything! They were relatively gross and mold in the shower- it was NEVER cleaned the week I was there!

been camping here for 60 years, cheap, easy access, great location to visit DC from, nice conversation with ranger Tom this time

It was such a wonderful experience! 🌿🏕️ I stayed at lot 42, which was conveniently located near the bathrooms. The bathroom was very clean, and the shower was amazing.
I felt very safe because I could always see the park rangers patrolling the area, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.
Our original plan was just to go camping, take a shower, and then head out to explore. But everything was so peaceful and beautiful that we ended up staying at the campground all afternoon, simply enjoying the nature and the tranquility.
It was such a great experience, and I will definitely be coming back! ❤️🌲

My family enjoyed our two-night stay at a great camp site. We appreciated the friendly and helpful rangers who offered an evening 9/11 program. The only thing that prevented a 5 star review was the loud noise of the cars racing on the beltway at night. However, my family would still go back for another camping trip!

This is our 3rd visit to Greenbelt campground and we will continue to make it our annual camping trip! Staff are helpful, restrooms are clean, and the campsites are well maintained! We were so happy to see so many families there this year!

Restrooms were clean and the park was nice.

Decent campground very open tho so your basically next to everyone people from other campgrounds kept coming up to c to use the shower so not sure if showers r broken at other units? Also the open picnic area that has two playgrounds for kids that are broken down not cleaned up and caution taped off my girls were really looking forward to playing on play ground when we got back from a long day in dc to find out they couldn’t.

Very Happy that the potholes have been filled at the campground. But it is time to re-surface the entire campground road.

The site was clean and of good size. The area was kept groomed as one would expect. It would be an advantage to have some more hooks to hang clothes etc when showering but the water was great pressure and hot. The other campers were courteous and the place felt safe.
