What Guests Are Saying
Greenbelt Campground offers a great location close to Washington D.C., providing a peaceful, forested setting with well-maintained sites and convenient access to amenities. Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. However, some guests noted that the bathroom facilities could use improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, it’s recommended for its affordability and accessibility to both urban and natural attractions.

The winter scenery was pretty good. The pair of foxes that came through meander through camp was great. The birds and all we’re kind of lacking cause there wasn’t much for the for them at that time of year, December January, and it was rather pleasant in the middle of town, not to hear the traffic in the air in the city, even though was not blocks away was a nice hidden beauty

As a solo black woman camping 🏕️🥾 i had a wonderful time here. I felt safe, had beautiful views. Nice neighbor the first night... The 2nd night it was a group and they were kinda loud until about 11pm... But all in all i had a great, peaceful experience.

It is a basic place to stay to boon-dock or tent camp. This is our second time here and we will be staying again on our return trip. Bathrooms ok clean.
