My husband and I did a spur of the moment trip to Washington DC. Our camp site was absolutely spacious and beautifully located. Our dogs had room to run around. Couldn't have asked for a better spot. The staff was amazing. They gave us a lot of advice and tips for navigating the DC area. Which all came in handy during our visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place. You will not find a better place for you DC trip. They were the best priced in the area. Their sites were 40 to 60 cheaper per night than cherry Hill. Adventure bound was also extremely close to the metro which made visiting so convenient. We will be coming back soon!! 10/10 recommended 👌

This is a great place, a number of fishing spots under 7 miles. Have a rec. Room with pool table, theater area, ping pong and table hocky. There is a small library of donated books. The laundry room is always clean and you always meet someone nice there. The office has a post office and a small store.
Electric and water hook ups are available as well as adventure bound wifi(spotty), a fire pit and a picnic table.
They offer short and long term rentals. There are also a handful of tiny cabins that can be rented.
The staff is very friendly and laid back.

Don’t Stay Here!!! I can’t stress that enough. This is NOT a resort. It’s a trailer park for campers. Tons of permanent run down campers. No camp store. It’s so run down and dirty. The sites are awful. We have a 36’ fifth wheel and once set up at the back edge of the site there was barely enough room to park my truck. If we would have put our awning out it would have touched the camper in front of us. Having a fire was not an option unless we wanted to melt the camper in front of us. The sites were a gritty ash material and the driveways had massive potholes. The picture online are not current by any means of this nightmare. The first thing I did when I got there was lock every door on my truck flatbed and all the compartments on the camper. The dog park had massive muzzled dogs in it. I felt safer in downtown dc then I did here.

This place is great. I pull a 46’ fifth wheel with my ram dually long bed and I can get into spots but some spots are tighter then others. Staff is super friendly and they do offer extended stat which has been great

Worst campsite experience ever. We booked this spot hoping for a relaxing weekend getaway, but it turned out to be a total health hazard. Parts of the grounds had got so flooded, we thought we would float away. Dirty sites: Our half gravel pad was covered in mud, grass and was not level. The RV next to us had dogs and evidence was all over our site. Cars parked everywhere, along with tarps, sheds for those permanent residents.
There was a secret camp site that houses homeless campers. After we spotted a guy lurking around the pool area, we decided to pack up and move on.
