What Guests Are Saying
The shelter and surrounding area were clean, with a delightful morning chorus of bird songs. Reviewers noted that all conditions were as promised, and trails nearby were well marked. It's recommended to bring your own toilet paper for the outhouse.

Great short backpacking destination in a more secluded area of the park. Trails from the designated parking area at Camp Round Meadow were well marked and we had no trouble finding our way to the shelters. Shelter 002 worked great for our small group with plenty of soft clear ground around the shelter for tents.

Excellent backcountry-like camping. Clean and well-maintained. Each shelter has its own pit toilet. Plenty of downed wood nearby for firewood. Had cell reception/mobile data with Verizon.
