First time primitive cabin camping, and we loved it! Enjoyed our picnic table, fire pit, and the beautiful setting. Cabin was very basic with 4 single prison beds. Comfortable enough to lay your head & get a good nights sleep.

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet rustic get away in Cabin #20. Being our first time camping there, we were very glad to have the help of Ranger Jeanie who took the time to talk to us about the history of the camp, the best places to eat in town, and in general, was awesome!

We stayed two nights in the middle loop and had a lovely time. The camp staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We could tell they take great pride in their work and go to much effort to provide a safe, and clean historic cabin camp experience. We really appreciated that there are no vehicles parked in the cabin area. We noticed that the bath houses are cleaned several times a day. The wood shed is stocked with dry firewood. The pathways are well groomed. Thank you so much! We will return soon.

1. The staff were friendly and helpful.
2. It was a gorgeous environment in the woods.
2. It was too cold to enjoy my time productively. I wanted to hike and do some writing. It was too cold to type as my fingers got cold and I couldn't type with gloves.
3. As I knew beforehand, there was little electricity and couldn't charge my computer. I thought I could find someplace to charge it well.

I have camped at Camp Misty for 30 years, and have fond memories. I drive 2 hours just to camp at this site. Love it! Peaceful, family oriented, and safe.
