Idema Explorers Camp

We had an amazing stay at Idema Explorers Camp and will absolutely be back!

The campground was peaceful, quiet, and very well maintained. Our campsite was fantastic, and it was obvious the staff takes great pride in caring for the property. The bathrooms were clean, the trash was emptied regularly, and everything was well kept throughout our stay.

The staff was exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They made us feel appreciated as guests, and it really added to an already great experience.

Our family had a wonderful weekend, and we were impressed by how respectful and relaxing the campground was. We also learned one important camping lesson: make sure you securely store your food overnight… the local raccoons are clever! 😂

We can’t wait to come back and have already started talking about booking another trip. Highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly camping experience.

Very nice campground with the nicest bathrooms I’ve seen at any campground in my life! Sydney from the front desk was so nice and helpful!

Camp sites are on the smaller side but the park is huge so lots of room to explore. The yurts and tree houses are super nice but a little pricey.

I can’t wait to go back!

Also, the wagons to haul stuff to the campsite is a nice touch!

We stayed in Yurt #3. Despite the very cold outdoor temps (0 degrees F) we were warm and comfortable inside the Yurt. We explored the park trails snowshoeing. The showers and bathrooms were very nice and heated. Staff was amazing and did everything they could to ensure a comfortable stay. Would certainly stay again.

Terrific accomodations! We had the largest yurt and having a bathroom was great. We had some sulphur smell when anyone took a shower. The beds were firm and comfortable. Our little kids really enjoyed the huge rocks by the fire pit! Have already recommended to others to stay here!

I camped there with my Wife and 2 year old son. We had a lot of fun exploring the park and camping. Our favorite part was the amazing numbers if birds and boats we saw while camping. My 2 year old loves animals, boats and fishing so he had a blast. The campground us super amazing with tree houses, yurts and tent sites with high speed WiFi and a modern restooms. We will be back and look forward to it. Highly recommend to check out this unique campground!
