Camping was busy, it was a holiday weekend. Everything smooth, the registration was very friendly, campsite quiet enough. As a Park Ranger in Az, I wanted to tell all the people breaking branches, and cutting limbs to stop doing it, it is a NP! But without a camp host being around, everyone seems to be doing it.
Otherwise, thanks! Sleeping Bear Dunes and little Glen harbor as my favorite compared to going north to Petoskey.

Loved this campground! Stayed at site 89- good sized, fairly private considering the location (at an intersection). Perfect for our van. Only stayed 1 night, but wish we could have stayed longer. Awesome to be able to walk out onto the beach from the campground and the Heritage Trail is great for walking, running, and riding bikes. Hope to stay again in the future!

Campground was close to the dunes which is a plus. Vault toilets only, who h we knew when we booked. Site said there would be poison oak, but we weren't expecting it to be so overrun with it.

My first experience in a national campground. Really nice campground. Good amount of space and privacy. Lake is close, things to do are close by, area is really nice. Only negative, but a big one, is the amount of poison ivy. It is EVERYWHERE. Ended up cutting our trip short because my fiancee and I got it pretty bad and decided to go home.

We stayed for 2 nights in a primitive spot. We have a square drop trailer we use and the site was plenty big enough. We were close to the vault toilets which were very clean. I would stay again if we ever go that direction again.

Poison Ivy. Poison Ivy is abundant at the campground and throughout the lakeshore. Tent pads and campsite driveways are kept clear of poison ivy. However there may be poison ivy lining the boundary of the campsite.
