The mosquitoes were so bad that all we were able to do was jump in our tent and frantically slap as many as we could find that had sneaked in with us. The good news is that we went to town for dinner and breakfast and had lovely meals. But we did not get to enjoy the campsite as we have in the past.

We went here at the end of May this year and half of the spots were open so needless to say it was very quiet. Bathrooms were very clean and actually smelt good with airfreshners. They had dumpsters for the trash and most importantly - a water fountain with drinkable water! Campsite host was so friendly and nice!

We had a nosy neighbor walk around our campsite and tent with his dog at 4am, then were woke up by nearby gunfire noise from hunters at 7am.

Beautiful campground with large, wooded sites. Quiet and the vault toilets were very clean. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this campground!

We had a great stay! The site was very clean, and was able to easy house 6 people with 3 tents! All of us had service, I believe we had all the major providers— ATT, Verizon, and tmoblie. The pit toilet was also very clean, it was cleaned and restocked several times during our 4 day stay. We cannot speak to any of the running water at the campsite as we brought our own. The little beach was very nice as well, very clean! We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

Generally quiet area to camp. Most campsites were tree covered, which made solar power use limited. Otherwise, good location to easily access activities in Munising.

We loved the spacious sites, the shade, the Songbird Trail, and proximity to great sightseeing. Our camp host was excellent! She checked on us as soon as we arrived and brought us firewood within minutes. The bathrooms were the cleanest pit toilets I’ve seen! Site 007 was large but it would have been challenging to level a larger camper. It worked fine for our 17 ft. trailer. I would highly recommend Au Train Lake Campground for the peace and pretty surroundings.
