My friend and I stayed here for three nights. We stayed in a yurt with bunk beds and a futon. It was towards the end of August (Labor day weekend) so for context, it was pretty chilly.
When we arrived our place was really clean. Each spot had its own personal fire pit. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family stayed at Paddlers Village Yurt #12 by Lake Superior. I was not impressed nor was my husband. First of all the environment was trashy, dumpy buildings and some beer garden in the mix. Our Yurt was dirty, the area rug they had in our yurt was so nasty we kept our shoes on while walking in our yurt. Second the straps on all three window coverings were busted except for one (glad I brought string). The bathroom showers were gross too. Keep this in mind.. the yurts and tents are about 10 ft apart and in that space they crammed in a fire pit, two chairs and picnic table. They need to space these things apart. On our first night we were blessed to smell another group smoking weed (NOT everyone likes that smell). Eye roll. Overall I highly recommend the Au Train campground yurts over Paddlers Village. Paddlers Village you are too pricy for that type of accommodations.

It was a wonderful experience, the showers were clean, the tents were comfortable but you need to bring your own blankets, beautiful place, we will be back again next year. If you want to make love, you have to keep it quiet for the neighbors can hear you. Have fun😊

We had an incredible stay. The Yurts were comfortable and cozy. The site were a bit small but we had more then enough room for us. The neighbors kept trying to drown out our musoc sonwe finally shut ours off and listened to thiers. It was an amazing weekend, and Paddlers Village was a highlight of the trip.

Booked a cabin here for one night with my wife and five-year-old, dreaming of rustic charm—not bare mattresses and eau de mildew. For over $200 a night, we expected more than campfire-level accommodations. Refund request denied, so we took our disappointment (and our family) to Marquette instead. Some may enjoy this flavor of “rustic,” but we prefer sheets.
