Clean and quiet campsite. Road to campground is a little rough, you need to go slow. Site was very big and close to the shore. Would stay again if in the area.

The campground is clean and quiet. Most sites are spacious and not crowded together. The bathrooms were always clean. The only downside is the road in is in horrible shape. Huge potholes that are almost impossible to go around.

Loved the campground with the exception of the roads. They are in bad shape. Huge potholes.

Bay Furnace has an ideal location for getting into Munising and Shoreline Trail, or a day trip into Marquette.
Our site was nice except for the lights and noise coming thru the trees from M-28 and parking lots; not a big issue, but lessened the enjoyment some.

Excellent location! Campground is right in Munising with lots of activities and located right on the shoreline of Lake Superior.

Prepare for wind, as you're right upon the lake. But if you're ready for that, then this campground is a great, secluded area with access to some of the best areas the U.P. has to offer!

This is a great site! The bathrooms were well maintained, the sites were nice and private, and there is so much to do in the area! My highlight was looking for yooperlites on the beach.

Much to do. Hiking, biking, boating. However, the roads in park are in sad need of repair. Park itself was nice.

Awesome site. My neighbor ran a generator from 8am to 7pm for 4 days. When checking the reqs it was legal. That was a deal breaker. I won’t be back.
