Clean restrooms were very nice. Friendly staff.
Being next to highway was loud in evening.
Very close to town and picture rocks was convenient.

Clean toilets and camp sites! Ton of mosquitoes if in a heavy tree spots. Campground road is full of huge potholes and is bumpy if you have a small vehicle. Would definitely camp again!

We really enjoyed our one night at Bay Furnace. The new pit toilets were a bonus! The beach front camp sites were amazing.

In early October, the campground was full but very quiet at night - a pleasant surprise! We sat on the beach for a while to watch the sunset and the stars, and saw a bunch of folks out with flashlights looking for sodalite rocks.

This was a nice campground close to Munising and Pictured Rocks with access to the lake. Our spot was very private, surrounded by trees. It was clean, has a dump station.

We have been camping at Bay Furnace for 6 years or so and we always enjoy our time there. It is always clean, quiet, and beautiful. There is a downfall, and that is the fact that people are always collecting buckets or bags full of rocks or glass from the beach. The road going into the park also is in disrepair and needs a lot of work. Too many potholes to even get around them. Please use some of the money that you acquire from your campers to repair the road. Thank You
