Not the greatest campground I've stay at, but a good place to spend a few days. The Vault Toilets were spotless, they looked brand new. I had a good site for Morning Solar and kept my Batteries near 100%. Especially nice to be so close to the pictured rocks attractions, Au Trains Best Pasties at the AuTrain Grocery, and the Casino that made me glad I was camping!

Been here several times. Only drawback to this location is the road into the campsites is in horrible shape. Potholes galore, feel sorry for those pulling trailers as you could not swerve to avoid them. Rip up the crumbling asphalt and put down gravel, at least you can grade that.

Very nice well spaced out sites, pretty beach. Easy drive to pictured rocks. A bit noisy by the highway though but not much traffic late

The sites are very spread out and the facilities are well maintained. It was a windy night so car noise wasn’t an issue but I could imagine nights where the road noise would be an issue.

I was fortunate to book campsite #10. This campsite is directly on Lake Superior with a full view. The campground is in good condition. The road into the campground could use some maintenance. There were 2 vault toilets for my loop. The campground hosts did a good job to keep them clean and stocked but that was not always possible. There were a lot of flies. My Verizon phone did not have a strong signal in the campground. Across the street from the campground was a casino. There was strong signal from the casino parking lot. This campground is a short drive to Munising where many tour vendors and restaurants are located.

The camp hosts were very helpful. I believe it was Bob and Carol. Both checked in with us to ask how we were doing and to answer any questions we might have. They also helped us locate to a different site that wasn't originally available when we first showed up. The bathrooms were very clean.

We love this campground. It's a great home base for exploring pictured rocks. Sites are adequately separated from each other and hosts are friendly. We'll be back next year.

Large sites with a lot of vegetation throughout campground. Really nice beach and interesting historical site with the furnace. Entry road pretty rough. Good water availability and dump station in good order. Excellent location for area activities.

Our stay at Bay Furnace was wonderful. Carol and Bob were excellent camp hosts. They stopped by daily to make sure our stay was going well and to provide restaurant options and places to visit while in the area.
