Park was quiet, vault toilets were clean, camping sites were level. Close to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and the boat cruise which was awesome! Munising has numerous eating establishments - the fish tacos at Tacopotamus were our favorites!

Campsite felt very private. Trees/brush between sites so we really didn't see other campers. Quiet. We loved it. The road into the campground needs work! It had holes and bumps so go slowly!!

We enjoyed our visit to Bay Furnace Campground. The site was level, the bathrooms were clean and the campground was quiet at night. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore was a short drive away. The Pictured Rocks Sunset Spray Falls cruise was awesome!

Campground is very nice mix of sites in trees and a couple with direct Lake Superior frontage. Most sites are fairly private and reasonably spaced apart from neighbors. Vault toilets are good and a dump station is available to dump your own, if you have it. I would stay here again when I'm in the area.
