This is the most well maintained camp side I have ever been to. The location is amazing, most of the sites on the western side have private paths to Lake Superior, the bathrooms were immaculate and there is plenty of space between sites.

Loved this campground. Right on Lake Superior, trees give some privacy between campsites. While it is near Pictured Rocks, you do have to drive (or walk/ bike 5 miles) on roads to get to any trailheads. Facilities were clean, place was quiet and well kept. The beach is great for sandcastles and skipping rocks :)

We love this campground! The sites are wooded and not close together. We love the Lake Superior beach and get up for the sunrise every morning. The furnace is very cool!
Our favorite place to camp in Munising area.

There was a little problem when we arrived, as our reserved site had accidentally been given to someone else. Once that was cleared up, everything was fine. Pit toilets, but kept tidy. Good base for seeing Pictured Rocks and Munising. Nice location on the lake.

Great site, level and private. Campground was well maintained, from the sites to the beach/ picnic area and even the vault toilets. Convenient to get out and enjoy Munising and Pictured Rocks.

Nice large sites that are pretty private. Fairly small park but has a dump station which is nice, since many rustic campgrounds don’t have them. Unfortunately people aren’t very respectful of other campers and are very loud, even very late into the night. If you want somewhere cheap and close to town then this is it, but don’t expect it to be peaceful and quiet. It wasn’t for us.
