Lovely campground, but quiet hours are completely unenforced. Trashy, loud groups up all night yelling, swearing, fighting, and blaring music, every night I was here. I will never be back. Marquette tourist park is quieter than this.

A beautiful place. The Forest Service fixed up the walkway to the observation deck nicely. Outhouses were kept nice and clean.

Very nice, wooded and very spacious sites. Apart from one night, the campsite was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the ambiance and proximity to plenty of Upper Peninsula attractions (eg Marquette & surrounds, Lakenenland Sculpture Park, scenic overlooks of Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks). At the campground itself, we especially enjoyed the treat of a wildlife viewing raised platform above the lake!

I loved this campgound. I kayaked on the lake every day. Holly, the campground host and her husband were very helpful and supportive of us having a comfortable and pleasant experience. I liked that they had excellent quality drinking water available and that there was a platform overlook nearby that I could use at night to see the stars. The only thing I would request is a better map for the birdsong trail. It was very clear on the way in and then suddenly I found myself on a logging rd. It was a little stressful finding my way back to camp as sunset approached. I took a photo of the map at the start of my hike. If the map at the entrance showed the dirt roads connecting, it would have helped. Regardless of that little adventure, I will definitly return to this campground.

The Restrooms were extremely clean. Firewood was always available too. All in all a superb experience.
