The sites are large and easy to get into. The beach area was wonderful. We didn't expect a U.P. lake to be so warm YAY! Centrally located to Munising and Rapid City which allowed for a few day trips.

This park has great potential given the property location and the site plan.
All handicap accessible trails all along the lake frontage and a beautiful fishing or view dock that stretches out into the water.
Some sties do have electric which is rare.
Two boat ramps so bring your fishing boat or kayak.

Beautiful extremely spacious sites. Even the vault restrooms were clean and smelled good. The camp host was great, very friendly. Our only complaint was that we didn’t book a longer stay. It would be nice if there was a dump station, but the camp host told us about one near by. Definitely our favorite place yet and we’ll be back.

Camp host was amazing! He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. He gave helpful tips pertinent to the area - what to see/do and helped with directions. He made sure other campers were abiding by rules and not being loud or ruining anyone else’s experience. The campground itself was nice and quaint. Sites were very wide/large - felt private. The lake it sits on is beautiful - clear water! Docks and beach area well-maintained. Beach was fun for my daughter to swim at and play in the sand. There is a nice, quiet hiking trail (VanWinkle) that was well marked and well maintained. We took a week’s trip all the way around Lake Michigan and Camp Seven Lake was hands down our favorite campground! We loved how quiet, remote, and serene it was. We loved the small community feel. And we loved the host. We would definitely come back!

The cleaning of the restrooms was terrible. They were swept and stocked with paper but they were not actually cleaned. In 2 weeks we never say them moped and our site was across form one of them. The same dirt that was on the walls and floor was there when we left after 2 weeks. There was no limit to the time that generators were allowed to be used. Some were running all night long. The leash restriction for dogs was not enforced and we had dogs running through our campsite. There was no enforced quit time at night. Dogs, generators loud shouting and radios were tolerated by the camp host. The same pot holes in the entrance to the park were worse then they were when we were there 4 years ago. This is the worst National Forest Campground that we have experienced in years.

Very pretty and quiet. Road in and one loop were awful with potholes. Trash dumpster area messy. Never used toilet so not sure of cleanliness.

Very nice park, secluded, quiet for the most part even on the 4th of July. Linda's grocery store was 13 miles but came in handy, they have great prices on firewood too. have to keep an eye on the tp situation after a couple days it starts getting low.

My family loves camp seven! It is a yearly tradition to go there for the summer to camp. I’m only leaving a review because my husband wanted me to mention how terrible the road is. The road could definitely use some repairs, potholes everywhere and makes for an interesting ride hauling a camper. Also, a fill up and dump station for campers would make it so much better! That’s the one downfall of camping here.

We love Camp 7 Lake Campground. It has large campsites, very quiet and very clean.
This was our 3rd year camping there.
I would have given the highest rating, except this, the camphost didn't keep up with cleaning bathrooms or reserved tags on campsites.
