What Guests Are Saying
Camp Seven Lake Campground offers spacious, private sites that are well-maintained and create a peaceful atmosphere. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts, clean facilities, and beautiful lake and beach area, making it a favorite for repeat visits. While the bumpy access road and limited water access were noted as inconveniences, the overall experience remains highly positive.

We enjoyed our stay. We have been staying here every summer for the past 46 years bringing our kids. Now we bring our grandkids . With the COVID this year it was a little different, but we still made it work with family. Nice campground.

Party central. Definitely not a quiet campground. Campground boat access blocked off due to campers parked there. Garbage dumpster over full. Stinky bathrooms. Female host very polite. Male host had a arrogant attitude.

The camp ground was very good, except for the dumpster which was overflowing badly causing a terrible smell and was drawing flies.

Beautiful campground, spacious spots.
The only negative aspect of the campground is the one & only dumpster for the entire campground is picked up only once a week, on Wednesday. We came on Sunday, dumpster is over flowing with garbage, we were 2 sites down from the dumpster, if the wind came in our direction we could smell it....needless to say by Wednesday when we left, garbage was put on the ground by campers because of no room to pile anymore on top. Bags were torn & spread alround by the critters at night...I consider Camp 7 Lake a rather large and quite busy campground and I'm really puzzled on why only 1 dumpster & picked up only on Wednesday. There's room for 2 dumpsters, maybe even 3 if it's only picked up once a week.

We camped here for 4 nights at the end of July. After searching online and realizing most sites toward the Pictured Rocks were booked solid for weeks, we found camp Seven Lake and loved it. The campsites are large and wooded and overall it was not crowded. The bathrooms are convenient (and clean!) and there are a few spots to get drinking water as well. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and sell bags of ice and bundles of firewood.
The lake is very peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend checking out the stars over the lake. We were even able to see the Neowise Comet.
Munising/Pictured Rocks is about 45 minutes or so from Camp Seven Lake and a fantastic place to go hiking. Just take it easy on the dirt roads if you have a small car...

Our local family members and family members from WI have had our annual camping at Camp 7 for several years. Clean facilities, nice lake (never gotten itch in this lake vs. other lakes in the area). About a half an hour from Manistique and fifteen minutes from convenience store (Linda's Breadbox) makes it nice in case you for get anything. Note that camp hosts have some ice available, but always available, requiring a drive to Linda's. Recommend.
