The campground features clean and well-maintained vault toilets and well-separated sites, making it a pleasant stay overall. Nearby attractions include great dining options and beautiful hiking trails, although some noise from inconsiderate guests and road traffic can occur.

We arrived after 11pm after a long drive, it was a relief to see our last name on site 6. The camp ground is quite nice, the pit toilet was clean. The only possible downside would be early morning logging trucks on the nearby road. I would camp there again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Flowing Well Campground in late August 2019. We stayed midweek as part of a cycling trip across the UP. We had a small motorhome which worked very well on the lot. The lot was very private and had a lovely view of the river through vegetation. There were plenty of mature trees and shade. We enjoyed walking to the artesian well. The campsite is fairly remote but was well placed for our travels. We did encounter a lot of bugs (mosquitos with some gnats/flies) which made it challenging to cook outdoors and kept us inside for most of the evening.
