Beautiful campground! It was so peaceful. Loved that it was far away from tourists, but close enough for a quick drive into town if I needed anything. The lake would be perfect for a paddleboard, but it's too weedy/mucky on the bottom to swim (for me, anyway). The vault bathroom was super clean. I appreciate the work that the forest service does to maintain these beautiful parks :)

Amazing campground! Campsite 10 is absolutely beautiful with a great view of the lake and a trail that goes right down to the shore. The camp sites are fairly secluded and not buggy at all.

it was a nice site, however some other campers were set up on it when we arrived ,I threatened them with getting the sheriff before I got them to leave. I showed him my reservation receipt and he tried to tell me that recreation .gov overbooked the site, I knew it was bs. My problem was no ranger around, no phone service there and it was a 1/2 hour ride to munising to get a ranger or the law. After I got them out of there,we had a good time and heard loons in the morning, and we drove to chapel falls to take my granddaughters and nephew on a backpacking trip. The nerve of some people

Beautiful, remote, big sites. Only pit toilets and pumped water (a bit iron tasting) but clean.
