Little Beaver Campground offers a serene and clean environment, with well-maintained pit toilets, potable water, and proximity to beautiful hiking trails and scenic views of Little Beaver Lake. Visitors appreciate the small size and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for those looking to escape the crowds. However, some reviewers reported issues with campsite reservation discrepancies and mosquito infestations, suggesting caution during bug season.

I loved being able to hike out to the lake right from the campground. I was in the remote site, which was a little scary to be honest, but it was a beautiful site.

Campground is small with limited space and privacy between the campsites. The pit toilets get high usage from day trippers and campers but are well maintained. Great location for canoeing and hiking!

These are small sites without a lot of privacy. Best for Tents, truck campers or very small RV’s. No dump station. No electricity. No cell service.
Great access to hiking trails along Lake Superior!! We enjoyed our stay!!

This is a great little campground, I want to call it a hidden gem, but I fear that may not be the case. It is busy, way busier than I would have thought for somewhere so off the beaten path. It really is a lovely campground, the bathrooms were pretty reasonably clean for what they were (vault toilets). Unfortunately there were a few people who would come down from the nearby hiking trailhead and use the bathrooms and drive through the campground. We also had an issue one night with people showing up at midnight, setting up camp, and then leaving their car running with lights on for awhile until I went to say something to them, I guess they did not get the memo about the quiet hours.
However, none of this should detract from the fact it is a very nice campground with nice facilities (even though they are rustic) and access to some great hiking from here. I would just make sure to bring a sleeping mask and ear plugs because you are close to your neighbors!
