Small lovely campground in bucolic setting on a lake. Sadly, our neighbor was running an open frame construction type generator for 4 hours, both days that we were there. Apparently that's permissable here! NPS, please change rules to allow no, or at least small inverter type, generators only.

Nice, small campground. Easy access to everything at Pictured rock. Very few mosquitoes or flies! Quiet neighbors.

Sites are on the small side and a bit close to your neighbor. For some reason their fire pits are more like burn barrels. The side walls of the "pits" rise about two to three feet from the ground. I had to use three to four times as much wood as I would with a normal side fire pit in order to be able to see the fire while sitting in my camping chair.

We had a good time at little beaver lake. We saw lots of beavers swimming in the lake. Only downside is that the campground has no potable water.
