Because of the small campsites and the narrow, twisting, hilly access road it is highly suggested you check the campsite length, width, and height before booking.Pets are NOT allowed at Little Beaver Campground.A small boat ramp is available for launching boats. Only electric motors are permitted on Little Beaver Lake and Beaver Lake as these lakes are within the Beaver Basin Wilderness area. Little Beaver also features the Little Beaver Nature Trail, a 1 mi (.1.9 mi) loop trail. A 1.5 mi (1.5 mi) trail leads to Lake Superior and connects with the North Country Trail.

Excellent location and great trails to hike. Bit of a drive to get in, but well worth it.

We had a good time at little beaver lake. We saw lots of beavers swimming in the lake. Only downside is that the campground has no potable water.

Sites are on the small side and a bit close to your neighbor. For some reason their fire pits are more like burn barrels. The side walls of the "pits" rise about two to three feet from the ground. I had to use three to four times as much wood as I would with a normal side fire pit in order to be able to see the fire while sitting in my camping chair.

Nice, small campground. Easy access to everything at Pictured rock. Very few mosquitoes or flies! Quiet neighbors.
