What Guests Are Saying
The Mckeever Cabin offers a clean, cozy, and beautifully secluded environment ideal for relaxation, with a well-stocked wood supply and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciated the peaceful surroundings, scenic trails, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology. However, some noted the inconvenience of a lengthy walk from the parking area to the cabin, which could be challenging with heavy gear.

Truly a winter wonderland. I do not know if I have ever experienced the type of silence I did in the snow covered McKeever Hills. Pack light in winter. It is a bit of a trek in two feet of snow from the road.

We loved this cabin! It was perfect for a little winter get away. The wood stove gets HOT. You can cook and boil water on it no problem. We wish we would have kept our camp stove at home! We will be back asap :)

What an amazing little cabin. It is a little off the beaten path, so I would recommend arriving in the daylight if possible. We arrived in the dark and had a fun time figuring out where to go. It was however, an amazing wake up when we realized we were just steps away from a small lake. I wish we could've stayed longer. The cabin had all the amenities we needed - firewood, bathroom facilities, toilet paper, kleenex, cards & books. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, rugged little getaway.
We brought along our own sleeping mats and sleeping bags as there were four bare bunk beds. We will definitely be back.
