Great campground. Our third time staying there. This time however there was no camp host and people were running generators, playing music, and being loud past quiet hours deep into the night. One of the best parts of camping there is listening to the soothing natural sounds of nature while falling asleep, and that was missed on this trip.

Easy reservation process, timely email reminders, and simple check in directions. Excellent campsites with nice privacy. Kind and helpful camp hosts. Great hiking trails. Beautiful areas with varying terrain (paved, gravel, dirt, single track) to bike ride. During our stay, the water was not functional in the camp area. They were very apologetic to the inconvenience.

Loved this campground. The spaces are very private and we were right in the lake which is beautiful. Our camp hosts were very helpful.

Appreciated not seeing any unleashed dogs. The spicket with a sign next to it that has the big word "water" and the small words "does not work" was a little frustrating, as was having to go to the day use area to get water. Otherwise this is a really lovely campsite. Would definitely return.

Pete’s Lake Campground is our favorite spot to camp on roads trips to Marquette and Copper Harbor. Bruno’s Run is undervalued as a destination trail to ride but many should consider a day trip or overnight there. Most of our past trips to Pete’s lake campground the place is about half full but I don’t camp on weekends and holidays. So usually it’s very peaceful and relaxing place to visit.
The sites/bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Campground hosts were very helpful.
Only issue this past trip was a site near us was blasting music , running generators and didn’t observe quite hours. Otherwise the rest of campground was as quiet as possible.
Campground hosts had already spoken with this group multiple times but
They still didn’t care to observe rules or have proper manners when camping.

Loved the spacious lots and friendly hosts at this spot! It’s super convenient to Munising while still feeling like a true rustic getaway. There wasn't a working water pump and access is at the day-use area and only a portion of the vault toilets were open, but they were very clean. Solid rustic camping experience.

The host was very accommodating and helpful. However with all the water sources in the campground being out of service it was not too convenient to have to go to a different campground to obtain water. Luckily Widewaters was right down the road 5 miles to be able to fill our water jugs.

I stay here every summer. The campground is rustic, private, and the sites are spacious. The beach area is quite nice and the lake is clear. This year was a little disappointing as some of the pit toilets were out of order as well as the fresh water sources in the campground. There was a source but all the way at the beach area. I hope these are all fixed by next year.
