Pete's Lake Campground receives high praise for its spacious, private campsites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for many campers. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful camp hosts, the clean facilities, and excellent hiking and biking trails, particularly Bruno's Run. Some concerns include intermittent water supply issues and noise disturbances from generators, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return due to the campground's serene environment and well-maintained amenities.

Beautiful campground and helpful host! My only complaint is that the fire pit was WAY over full with ash.

We've camped here multiple times over the years. We like kayaking the lake, and riding our mountain bikes on the "Bruno's Run" trail.

We've stayed at Petes Lake campground multiple times before and it never disappoints. The campsites are generally spaced apart enough to provide privacy and it's usually quiet (except for the occasional person that feels compelled to run their generator). The last time we camped here there seemed to be a problem with the pump operating the freshwater spigots but there was water available near the beach, just a little inconvenient. Bring your mountain bikes to ride Brunos Run accessible directly from the campground and the lake is prefect for paddling. If you're looking to experience a stay in the forest, this is the place.

Clean facilities. Quiet campground. Good location close to Munising. The lake on the property is beautiful and we saw loons a few times.
