Twelvemile Beach Campground offers stunning views of Lake Superior and spacious, well-maintained campsites, providing a peaceful atmosphere for visitors. Campground hosts are friendly and helpful, contributing to a clean and welcoming environment. However, challenges with the reservation system and occasional mosquito swarms have been noted by guests, highlighting the need for preparation regarding bug protection and awareness of site availability.

Great sites - spacious and well-separated from others. With tent pads and grills on the firepits. Lake views from many sites. The setting is beautiful, the campground was quiet, and the host was helpful with hiking recommendations.

Absolutely stunning scenery and quite private. Bathrooms were cleanest I've seen at campsites. Campsite host was very knowledgeable and helpful. Stable flies did move in on our last night and were quite unbearable but overall we'd definitely come back!

Campsite was spacious and nice. We were fortunate to have excellent weather with a breeze from lake Superior which kept the bugs down. I DON'T recommend getting a shower at the Munising Tourist Campground Park as they rip you off for $8 per person which is a rather outrageous price.

Wonderful campground! It was so nice to be able to just walk down a handful of steps to a quiet beach. The ranger programs were outstanding, and the camp host was so attentive! Our only complaint is that there were no recycle bins.

I don't even want to write a review because I want to be able to get a campsite next time- but this campsite was amazing!! Easy to find, beautiful sites along the lake, camphost was super helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely come back hopefully before the end of the summer!
