We had a great stay at this cabin! I brought my 12-year-old son and two of his friends, and there was plenty of room for all of us.
One thing future campers should know: we brought a wagon to haul our gear, only to find out that wagons aren’t allowed on the trail to the cabin. The rule makes sense given the trail conditions, but we didn’t see it mentioned in the reservation details. Adding that information to the listing would save future visitors from a surprise workout carrying all their gear.
The cabin itself was exactly what we needed. The beds were comfortable, the vault toilet was clean and functional, and everything was in good shape. Mosquitoes were definitely part of the experience around camp, so bring bug spray and maybe a sense of humor. The good news is that we found very few mosquitoes on the beach during our stay, and that’s where we spent most of our time anyway.
The beach is outstanding, the location feels remote without being difficult to access, and the cabin is a real gem. If you can snag a reservation, do it. We’d happily stay here again.
