The wife & I just loved this place! Right on the lake with a great atmosphere. Its a little tight in place with rigs over 38' but well worth the effort! Lots of activities nearby and groceries about 12 mile away. We were pleasantly surprised this park! It has a very nice beach in which to enjoy sunsets.

Beautiful campground along Lake Superior located by the Porcupine Moutains in Upper Michigan. This campground is perfect for camper or a tent. Campground and shower house were clean and up kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was the perfect weekend getway and disconnect from electronics (cell service is not great but the campground has wifi). We loved being able to hike the Porkies during the day and then walk along the shores at night looking for yooper rocks.

Fantastic little campground, right at the entrance to the Porcupine mtn wilderness state park. Sites are gravel and quite roomy, well shaded!! Bathrooms were cleaned daily, showers were nice and hot. Campstore well stocked and firewood and kindling all available. The pet policy is strict-but the result is an absolutely peaceful, well kept, gorgeous campground. there is zero Verizon or T-Mobile here, campground Wi-Fi was sufficient for texts only -I wasn’t able to use it for calls. Starlink managed well despite the (gorgeous) tree cover.

I would absolutely return to enjoy the incredible sunsets, beach right across the street, and access to the Porkies right out of your front door!!!

This campground was in the perfect location for visiting the Porcupine Mountains. The sites were fairly small with no privacy barriers in between but our site served it's purpose and there was a bit of a view which was an added bonus. The bathroom/showers were very clean with hot water and the small store on the property was well stocked. I also loved that there was beach access right across the street and that we could hear the waves from the lake at night.

We normally state at state parks, but we chose to stay at this private park when visiting the porkies. We loved it. The location was great. We walked right across the street to the beach. We were right outside the state park. It's such a big state park you are going to have to drive even if you stay inside the park so it wasn't a big deal being outside.
We have a dog and it was fine. Our dog isn't a barker. If your dog barks a lot, you might not want to pick this place. For the rest of us, it was really nice to not hear dogs barking all the time. Many people had dogs, they were just well behaved.

The park was quite. We liked that
The owners were nice.
People gathered in the swings at the front of the park to watch the sunset. People were sitting around a common campfire being friendly. It was lovely to see.

I would recommend staying here for well behaved people, and dogs.
