This was a solo trip after a long summer of working too many hours. I had great weather and some much needed down time. Sad to see a lot of evergreens knocked down from the storm but the clean up was great. I had a Pileated stop in, a Savannah Sparrow, A Yellow-Rumped Warbler, a Swamp Sparrow along with the usual suspects. The Wood Ducks were calling non-stop, but no loons. Unfortunately I didn't realize the duck season opener is the 3rd Saturday in September so I was woke up by the locals putting in aluminum boats at 4:30 in the morning. Other than that, what a great trip.

We very much enjoyed this camp site. Remote, quiet, plenty of space between camp sites. There were other campers in the area but we could not see or hear them from our camp site. The fire pit was great and high quality. The site is plenty of room for a group. Facilities were well kept. Thank you for such a great opportunity to enjoy the Huron National Forest.

The size of site 22C is excellent and the view of the sunrise is one of the best I've ever seen.

After trouble finding this exact location….directions should be clearer from road to spot…I finally found it and it was worth it! My view of the river was great. The spot is secluded enough from the other campers for me. I found some hearts in nature & left them behind, I hope others add to it!! 😊
I would totally stay here again.

I’ve been coming to this site for years. Two years ago they changed the fire pit and it absolutely ruins the experience. The heat does not permeate the campsite. The light does not light up the campsite.
The site is well kept and the river is beautiful. I love this place with all of my heart. I despise the fire pit so much.

The outhouse was really smelly and could be cleaned out more often

Campsite 14 has really easy access from the river. The site has ample space for 3+ tents. Quiet site with good view of the stars at night. Really enjoyed our stay.

It was OK. Terrible river access. The site was nice sized, can comfortably pull cars in.

I went to the directions that they give me on the app. When I made the reservation..
Drove around for over 2 hours looking for my campsite..
It had me going down a five mile field stopped me in the middle and said, here is your destination. The directions they give me...
That was not my campsite. There was no way to get to it. If it was my campsite..
They need to direct people a correct way.. i would never go there again and do this. Because clearly it doesn't exist..
I was looking very forward to this vacation. But never got there and got charged. For it.
