We were at site 91D. It was very quiet with beautiful views. The campsite was very large with steps leading down to the river. The two track going back was rough and narrow. I would not recommend taking a large rv in there. Oscoda was a short 10 minute drive for gas & supplies. We visited the Lumbermans Memorial and Lake Huron which were both a short distance.

This campsite is so beautiful! Very secluded, we head a lot of birds & other wildlife. We had a great time being out there & enjoying nature. Highly recommend!

Trip was great, overall. Had some nice sites along the river. Only disappointment was at site 045 at Sawmill Point. Whereas many of the sites in the various loops were large and offered some degree of privacy, this site was basically a dirt vehicle turnaround that butted up to another site, which was occupied. Did 60+ miles kayaking along the river, and saw lots of wildlife. Would definitely do it again.

Plenty of shade plenty of Sun. The only disappointment was the fish weren't fighting and the ones that caught had parasites.

Site was awesome as always. Good spot to pull up kayaks. Neighbors are about a 1/4 mile away. Room enough for two families
