Sign post #18 not visible from the river. When observed #19 realized we went by it. Paddled upstream to worn bath up steep sand embankment. Climbed it to find sign post #18. Camp site located on river right. Used rope to hoist gear up and down embankment. Concerned frequent foot traffic up and down will cause unnecessary erosion. Otherwise, campsite, river, and weather great. Thank you for allowing for such a trip.

The campsite is easy to get to and is very well maintained. Excellent view, nice stairs to the water (we caught a really fat LargeMouth Bass, my son's first), and the firepit works just fine. Again, can't beat the view or water access.

Camp site was nice, flat and clean with a fire ring with cooking grate. Be advised the posted trail name does not match the map, so I had some difficulty finding it. Also, the river bank is quite steep with many steps. My fishing kayak was too heavy to attempt boating in (so I drove in), but a conventional kayak would have been fine. Overall a very nice stay.

Nice clean site with a great view. Has a small hill going up to the site but it’s not terrible. Bring a lot of bug spray.

Site was very secluded and large. Short walk across the road down to the river for easy swimming or fishing access. However, there was lots of trash at the site, and people had been pooping right next to the established tent areas, without burying it at all, very nasty.
