Site was a little difficult to locate (had to ask other campers for directional assistance), but once we got there it was a beautiful, secluded site with a sandy beach access to the lake.

Chicago lake campsites are perfect as they are ...rumor is your changing them to limit amount of campers per site...as we use this site for family event limiting them would be greatly impacting our event

The directions to get there were a little tricky, but my only rec for camp site is go right at the first fork then take every left you can until you see posts 1-2 then go into 1

This campsite was very busy with traffic from fisherman.

Campsites are very different from each other. Do not use site closest to boat landing.

Good campsite. Primitive toilet was surprisingly pleasant. The site was a bit busy, being right next to the launch, but that was to be expected and was no bother at all. Next time I would get site 3 if possible, but 4 was just fine. Excellent spot for the boat on the site. Plenty of room on the site for vehicle, trailer, tent, pop up and everything else. Fishing was not great, but I don't believe we were there at the ideal time for bass/pike fishing. Would definitely recommend this and surrounding sites.

We absolutely loved this site. You have to go down a two track for about a half mile to get to it so it is very secluded. We felt like we had our own private lake. We couldn't hear or see anyone around. The site is large and walks right down to the water.

A favorite place to go. Can hear the campsite down the way but trash and isolated

From the Intersection of US-2 and Forest Highway 13 (about 14 miles east of Rapid River or 22 miles west of Manistique): drive north 8.4 miles on Highway 13 to CR 442.
- Turn right (east) and drive 5 miles to County Road N-3.
- Turn left (north) on N-3 and drive 0.1 mile to FR 2422 turning left (northwest) on to 2422 and continuing about 0.25 mile to the campsites.
