Our stay at this campsite was everything and more that we had wanted out of this trip to the UP! The quick and easy access to the beach meant that beautiful sunset and sunrise views were both at our fingertips. The beach itself is well-maintained and the tolerable and borderline-warm water temperature provided endless opportunity for us and our dogs to swim. The campsite is situated closely to the pump for potable water and even closer to a well-maintained bathroom. The campsite itself is spacious and provides appreciable privacy when the trees are full in the summer months. It’s a feasible drive to Tahquamenon Falls, which on a sunny day, proved to be a spectacular hike during our stay in the area. We are looking forward to returning to this campsite in the future!

Bayview campground is a special place! It is always so well maintained and the sites are large enough to provide peace and privacy.

The camp hosts were fantastic! The site and facilities were kept extremely clean, and the two of them were very kind.

We had a very private and wooded site but it was a bit unlevel. Loved walking the Lake Superior beach in the morning and evening.

From Brimley, Michigan, travel west on County Road 42/Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway for approximately 8 miles. Bay View is on the north side of the road.
Bay View is accessible via County Road 42/Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway, which connects to M-221 approximately 10 miles to the east.
