We stayed in the smaller loop (site 50 and site 55) in the bay/quiet part of the lake. It was very chill with nice, friendly people. The campsites are well maintained. Super nice bathroom facilities that are kept clean. There was a food stand with a large menu, which was a nice surprise. If you bring your boat and/or have kids, the larger loop is probably the better place to go. Site 50 backed up against a large hill and was across from the lake, but still with a lake view. It's wide open to the site next door, so would be a good spot if camping with another family. I loved site 55 - right on the lake. You could pull your boat up on shore, but there's not really a beach area for swimming at the site itself. We enjoyed sitting down by the water. More privacy at this site. I would definitely camp here again when in the area.

The only thing I would say is the camp hosts or workers go way to far to clean the park I think all work should stop buy 4 PM

Family with two young kids. We loved it. Camping spaces are roomy with trees and lake access. The kids loved fishing. Lake Michigan park is about a 7 minute drive away and you have day access to that beach too. It's nice that this camp ground has fun games to play at your site. Bathrooms were clean. The host, Don, is really nice and very helpful. Only thing I wish this campground had were closer garbage cans to the camp sites.
