What Guests Are Saying
Pfeiffer Lake campground has seen significant improvements, making it a beautiful and peaceful place to camp, with many sites offering lovely lake views. While some guests experienced disturbances from other campers and noted the need for better-maintained hiking trails, the facilities, including clean restrooms and helpful staff, were generally praised. Some campers expressed disappointment over the absence of beach amenities and marked water sources, but overall, it remains a favored spot for nature lovers and families.

We stayed in two campsites with our scout troop. The sites were well maintained and the perfect space. The pictures do a good job of showing what to expect at each campsite. The scouts went fishing and enjoyed cooking meals over the cookstove, since we were under high fire danger over the weekend. The scouts agreed that we would happily camp here again.

Quiet and peaceful. The restrooms for the cleanest I've ever seen. Thanks

Too pricey for the stay. The side said it was $12 per night but I was charge $30 per night. Most trees where burn out and fall down from the roots. Made me feel a sense of pain and agony, suffering in the area. I did got to see an cougars though! Which was freaking scary but totally awesome.
Overall was ok. Wish there were showers in the campground or some water source.

Our campsite had lots of room and separation from the nearby sites. We knew what we were signing up for with vault toilets and no electric. The potable water source was a bit hard to find but we asked fellow campers and were able to find it eventually. Other than noisy neighbors way past the start of quiet hours our experience was great.

A nice quiet place for dry camping with pit toilets. Beautiful small lake with easy access for canoeing or small boats, plus a sandy beach and fishing pier.

Perfect location: not close to busy roads, couldn’t hear loud traffic, no trains that where close enough to wake you up in the middle of the night.
Camp sites where more private then most campgrounds.
Made great memories, very kid friendly
