Our stay at the campground was excellent. Very clean facility and the Park Rangers and the Volunteers were super friendly. I will definitely be back and I will highly recommend it to others.

Sites were large, and easy to back into with a 34 ft 5th wheel. Electric & water hook-ups were good.
Firewood was easily available at stated times. Fishing was excellent nearby, with good fish cleaning facilities.
The location was had great access to nearby towns and business.
We really enjoyed our time there.

we have a fabulous stay at this campsite. the hosts were great and although we were only there for one night it was peaceful and relaxing. we have a suggestion for improvement. the directions we received told us to turn left at the sign at the playground when coming along Gull Dam road. However the sign at the playground is obsecured by a tree and not clearly visible (especially at night). I would amend the directions to say " if you cross the dam bridge you have missed the campground so turn around" :) We did eventually spot the sign and the playground once we turned around. It was night time and everything was dark
thank you for the stay.

Our last camping of the year was spent at The Army Corps of Engineers Gull Lake Campsite. We spent 6 relaxing and quiet days here. Although it was the end of the season everything was in pristine order and the staff fully manned. Campsites were all well maintained and the shower house kept clean. Had a enjoyable and friendly chat with the area manager who, in our opinion, runs a top notch facility! We will be back again!

During the 2025 camping season, rangers will not be checking you in at your site in person. Instead, you will find a box on your site post with check-in information such as firewood ordering hand out, your day use camper pass, and an important campground information handout. Please review these materials when you arrive. If you need assistance, contact a ranger or a volunteer. |

There is no longer an entrance at the north side of the park. All users will need to access the park via the south entrance. There is a new roundabout on Gull Dam Road to route you to the south if you still wish to come via Gull Dam Road. Suggested directions are as follows:From the intersection MN 210 and MN 371 in Baxter, drive north 2.6 miles. Turn left on Cty Rd 77 (Pine Beach Road). Drive west for 4.7 miles. Turn right onto Cty Rd 70 (E. Gull Lake Drive). You will come to a stop sign in 2.1 miles, go straight, this will take you into the park. Follow the road over the dam and the campground will be straight ahead. |
