Gull Lake Recreation Area is highly praised for its well-maintained, spacious campsites with good tree coverage, providing privacy and comfort. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and easy access to recreational activities like biking, swimming, and fishing. We like coming to Gull Lake Recreation Area. The campground is small, yet the sites we've stayed at are spacious. There is some road noise, but, it has never been too loud.
We enjoy walking to the lake and hiking the short trail that is there. Sunsets over the lake are beautiful.
It's also nice that it is close to Brainerd and Nissan, as well as, the Paul Bunyan Trail, which is a fun bike trail to ride.

Best campsites I've ever seen.....large & private. Our family has had an annual camping trip here for the last 3 years. Clean, beautiful park. A very fun, unique golf course, 'The Gravel Pit' is just 1-1/2 mi away.
