Gull Lake Recreation Area is highly praised for its well-maintained, spacious campsites with good tree coverage, providing privacy and comfort. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and easy access to recreational activities like biking, swimming, and fishing. While mosquitoes can be a nuisance, overall experiences are positive, with many campers planning to return.

The sites are always immaculate. We enjoyed the camping trip with friends as we were able to sit around the campfire at one site. The employees were friendly and efficient. Especially enjoyed lunch at Ernies on Gull Lake and biking the trails.

Too many volunteers and no engagements. Very disappointed with sites when site 12A had 15amp breaker on 30amp plug. Woman's bathroom heater ran all the time, even in 80+ Degree weather.

Very clean campsite with friendly workers and volunteers. The cleanest showers and bathrooms we’ve ever seen at a campground. Would highly recommend!
