Gull Lake Recreation Area is highly praised for its well-maintained, spacious campsites with good tree coverage, providing privacy and comfort. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and easy access to recreational activities like biking, swimming, and fishing. While mosquitoes can be a nuisance, overall experiences are positive, with many campers planning to return.

Very well cared for campgrounds. The only drawback was the garbage cans were way down by the main office and the dump station.

Nice park with very friendly reception. We had site 11 with electric and nice clean site with a firepit and table. We camped there for 1 night in October so it was pretty cool and not much to do there.

Very clean campsite with friendly workers and volunteers. The cleanest showers and bathrooms we’ve ever seen at a campground. Would highly recommend!

Too many volunteers and no engagements. Very disappointed with sites when site 12A had 15amp breaker on 30amp plug. Woman's bathroom heater ran all the time, even in 80+ Degree weather.
